The other half of my characteristics are buried deep within my subconscious. My sense of self is shaped by emotions and independent of the labels assigned to me by society. When I started to explore my inner world during a moment of crisis, I embarked on a journey to uncover the roots of my choices, emotions, and unique qualities.
As I ponder my individualism, I wonder how society would react if I were to reveal my true self. While I may not belong to every aspect of societal norms, I am still tied to them, willingly or not. This binds my hands and feet, sparking a sense of resistance within me.
In my view, there’s a point in everyone’s life when they take control of their world, becoming the catalyst for beginnings and destructions.
As Martin Heidegger once said, “The greatest power a person has is their power of choice.”
